I really need to stop online grocery shopping with Ocado. It is amazing – good products, reliable delivery, friendly customer service. But good lord is it expensive. Before Freddy, I did all of our grocery shopping at Lidl and could buy a week’s worth of food for £40. With Ocado, I spend on average £80, if not more. That said, actually going to the store is a real chore these days. Wrangling Freddy – increasingly wriggly – and several bags of food feels impossible.
I’ll write about this in another post, but our Health Visitor said that Freddy can have meat, fish, and eggs now. Weaning just got more complicated! I am probably being ambitious, but I do love to cook so I feel like I should be able to manage some nice meals for Freddy, especially if I can freeze most of them for later.
